Xur's overall stock this week is not that impressive. The weapon he is carrying is called the Last Word. It is a hand cannon that can be shot a lot quicker than most hand cannons and it has bonus damage and stability. These abilities are not the greatest but it is not the worst gun. It's just better have than really use. It is a weapon that you do not want to use in a raid but it is fun to use when patrolling.
The armor he is carrying is not the greatest. None of the abilities are really that helpful for doing the more important stuff in the game. That being said, they are still good pieces armor to help you get to level 32. They are good enough to get you by until you are able to get a better piece of exotic armor. Maybe next week he will carry something better for those in need of some good exotic armor.
