Well friends it's my last blog post but Xur didn't feel like giving us any super special treat for it.

The weapon he is carrying this week is the MIDA Multi-Tool. This is an exotic scout rifle that lets you run faster, shoot the gun on a hair trigger, and the radar will stay active when aiming down the sights. This gun's abilities makes it nice for the beginning of the Crota's End raid and for patrolling. It is not my weapon of choice hardly ever but it is nice to have. There are just a lot more other guns that need my attention right now but its time will come soon. That being said, it is a very cool gun to own and for anyone that doesn't have an exotic yet this one will be great for you.

The armor he is wearing is not the greatest ever but he is carrying one item that peaks my interest. That item is the hunter chest, the Crest of Alpha Lupi. The reason I like this chest piece is because it looks pretty awesome and that it allows you to revive teammates faster and you spawn more orbs for them when you use your super. This ability is nice to have in really every part of the game because the revive time is basically halved with the ability. It makes it so much easier to revive a teammate especially when under fire. Overall this week, his stock is decent. If in need of an exotic piece of armor or a weapon, any of these will do fine.

Here is some new info about the upcoming expansion pack, The House of Wolves. We are all still patiently waiting but it is coming up pretty soon. A lot of players like me are getting restless for it because there is nothing else left for us to do. It will be here soon enough and we will be able to stay up all hours of the night, wasting our lives with this wonderfully addicting game. Well that's all I have. Xur stock:

Xur's overall stock this week is not that impressive. The weapon he is carrying is called the Last Word. It is a hand cannon that can be shot a lot quicker than most hand cannons and it has bonus damage and stability. These abilities are not the greatest but it is not the worst gun. It's just better have than really use. It is a weapon that you do not want to use in a raid but it is fun to use when patrolling. 

The armor he is carrying is not the greatest. None of the abilities are really that helpful for doing the more important stuff in the game. That being said, they are still good pieces armor to help you get to level 32. They are good enough to get you by until you are able to get a better piece of exotic armor. Maybe next week he will carry something better for those in need of some good exotic armor.

Xur stock:

This week Xur has a very nice gun. The gun he is carrying is called the Suros Regime. This gun can come in very handy for a lot of things. The guns ability allows it to give health by causing damage. It doesn't give health every time you cause damage but it will sometimes. This really helps in the Crota's End hard raid because in the final part, there is no health regeneration. This ability will also just help with game play because there are times when its hard to heal because of all the damage you take. This gun is a must have in my opinion.

The armor he is carrying is decent but there's nothing spectacular. The only piece of armor that I think is even worth using is the titan chest armor called the Armamentarium. This piece of armor allows you to carry an extra grenade and carry more heavy ammo. They aren't the best armor abilities but they are nice to have in certain situations.

There isn't a lot of new news in the world of destiny as they are still working on the new game expansion and simple updates. Everyone is getting very anxious for the new expansion. It is supposed to drop sometime in may so it's getting close. I wonder what Xur will surprise us with next week.

Xur's stock for last week, 3/27/15, was pretty nice:

He was carrying the Ruin Wings for the titan and the MIDA Multi-tool. The Ruin wings are one of the best pieces of armor for the titan because of its heavy ammo ability. I say it is a must buy if not already owned. The MIDA is an exotic scout rifle that is pretty good. I would say it a weapon that is nice to have but is not a necessity. Xur's stock keeps impressing me with his nice variety that he hasn't really had before.

Xur's Stock for this week 4/3/15:

This week his stock is pretty poor. The only thing I think worth buying is the Don't Touch Me gauntlets for the hunter but his variety has still been nice. It's nice to see weapons other than the Ice Breaker and No Land Beyond. Hopefully one day he will carry the Gjallarhorn for those who have not been able to get it yet but it's still very unlikely.

A very impressive stock from Xur:

The helmets he had were very impressive. Two must haves for the hunter and warlock. Both of the helmets have the very sought after ability of replenishing health when picking up an orb that gets generated from other players. This helps out tremendously when trying to do Crota's End on hard mode since you can't regenerate health like normal.

Even the weapon is pretty good this week. It's one of the less common weapons in the game so a lot of collectors were very happy. Bungie has been updating his stock so we have been seeing a a nice variety of weapons and armor here lately. There have been many people predicting Xur's stock because they have figured out his sequence so Bungie had to update it. I'm still waiting for the thunderlord, an exotic machine gun, because it's the last weapon I need to complete my collection. I don't know what I'm going to do as soon as I get the thunderlord because I have everything else I need in the game. I guess i'll just have to wait for the new DLC to come out.

This week Xur did a very good job with his inventory.

Finally he is selling something of good use and different. For the past view weeks even months his stock has not been very good. This week he is selling the Red Death, a pulse rifle that heals you after each kill. This weapon is very sought after and is very important for raids. The titan helmet and the warlock gloves are also very useful too. They are two items that I desperately needed and could not get so I am glad that he is selling them this week. Along with those items he is also selling exotic engrams and heavy ammo synthesis again. We are being blessed with him having both of those for a second week in a row. Hopefully our luck keeps going.

We're still waiting on the 1.1.2 update which is still weeks away. This update has nothing guaranteed yet but they are exploring many options. The best ones in my opinion are vault space, raid fixes, and strike fixes. Fixing all of these things would seriously help out with adding to the game's success. The most common thing that I hear people complain about are these specific things. Everyone gets mad at the raids because there are small bugs in them sometimes and no one likes to do the same strike over and over and over again. If Bungie fixes these things, they will make a lot of people very happy. Something that people don't really understand though is how complex this game really is. There are multiple systems at play for this game to work properly and they all have to communicate well with each other. One small thing wrong in one system can throw a whole different system off. It is very hard for them to update this game very fast because of how complex it really is. Hopefully they can keep up with their weekly updates and keep fixing the minor things. Having the minor things fixed is important too. For now we should just enjoy the game because it is still really fun even though there may be some glitches to it.

There's a familiar weapon in Xur's stock this week:

It seems like the ice breaker is becoming much more common in Xur's stock. It is one of the best weapons in the game but he doesn't need to be selling very often. Exotic weapon collectors like myself want more of a variety in the stock so we can collect all of the weapons. The armor he has this week is decent. The titan helmet he has available is among the best in my opinion and is very useful. If you do not have it I would suggest picking it up this week if you don't already have it. He has also been selling exotic engrams and heavy ammo synthesis more often which is really nice. The heavy ammo synthesis is extremely useful so the more he has it the better. I would say his stock this week is pretty good.

I have not played the game very much this week so I don't really have anything to complain about this week so I guess I can talk about upcoming updates and the Destiny app. If you are a Destiny player I would highly suggest getting the Destiny app. It has recently undergone an update to where a player can grab any weapon that is stored in the vault while playing. Before this update every player had to leave the game and go fetch the weapon from the vault. This would get very annoying at times because it could take up to 5 minutes to get whatever you needed depending on Destiny's servers. With any new thing there will some problems with it so with the next update, 1.1.2, they will be addressing the issues with the app. Some players have reported that they have lost their weapons while transferring them with the app so this is a must fix. Hopefully this update will come soon and after that, will be the next expansion pack, The House of Wolves.

Xur:
This week Xur does not have anything that is really worth buying in my opinion.

In the video he says the gauntlets are for the hunter and the helmet is for a titan. He is wrong, the gauntlets are for the titan and the helmet is for the hunter. The only thing that might buying from Xur this week would be the warlock chest, the heart of praxic fire, and the exotic engram. Everyone should buy as many exotic engrams as they can every time he has it because it is a random exotic item that is attainable from it and it levels up the cryptarch. With the newest update this week Xur should have exotic engrams a lot more often. 

The 1.1.1 update for destiny came in earlier this week and made quite a few changes. This update balanced out the weapons and fixed the heavy weapon ammo. These things needed to be fixed for quite sometime and they finally fixed them. While playing, every time someone would die they would lose some of their heavy ammo. This was not supposed to happen. This was very frustrating when doing difficult things in the game because heavy ammo really helps speed things up. The game got much better with this update but the game needs further updates soon. 

For anyone who has played the game and has taken on Crota's End on hard mode, they might know that killing Crota can seriously be a pain in the a$$ sometimes. There are little glitches that need to be fixed otherwise you simply can't kill him sometimes. In order to kill Crota you must take down his shield, when his shield is off he kneels down, and someone with a sword must hit him with it to take his health down. The swordbearer must hit him a few times and either go invisible or run away from Crota as fast as possible. Well there are occasions where crota immediately jumps up and kills the swordbearer. When this happens you basically have to start over because you cannot revive anyone in hard mode. It's little things like this that need to be fixed in order to make the game better. But overall, it's still an amazing game. 

Xur:
This week Xur was not much of a disappointment but still no Gjallarhorn,

He actually had two things that everyone wanted this week. He is selling exotic engrams and heavy ammo synthesis. Two things that help everyone in the game. 

The picture above is an exotic engram. Exotic Engrams give a random exotic weapon or piece of armor. Exotic items are the best in the game and there are many of them. These things really help exotic collectors since Xur doesn't sell very many of them each week. But this week his inventory was not that bad, 

Rant of the week: 

For anyone who has played the crucible on Destiny, they might know of how over powered fusion rifles are in the crucible. This makes it extremely hard for anyone doing exotic bounties because they kill you in one burst.

 

As he says in the video "You are able to annihilate your enemies", he is 100% true. They desperately need a debuff so people aren't able to sprint around the map the entire time and kill everyone in one burst. It gets very frustrating when you can't even get a kill when everyone on the opposite team is using a fusion rifle. I personally hate the crucible and this makes it 50x worse. Well there's my rant for the week. 

Xur is at it again not selling the weapon everyone wants in Destiny. For those of who don’t know who Xur is, he is an exotic weapons and armor dealer who comes every Friday and leaves every Sunday. 

The Ice Breaker is owned by 96% of Destiny players. He sold this weapon a few weeks ago so we really don't need it again right now. Instead of selling something nearly everyone owns, why not sell the Gjallarhorn (good luck pronouncing that). Less than half of the Destiny players this weapon. 

This weapon is considered the best weapon in the game so it would unbalance the game if everyone had it but with the game increasing in difficulty, it is almost a necessity. If it is a necessity then more than half of Destiny players should have it. As well as not selling the Gjallarhorn, Xur has also not sold heavy ammo synthesis for a few weeks. This is also a necessity while doing difficult things in the game because of the rare heavy ammo drop. 

Well this week is pretty much another disappointment from Xur. We'll have to see if we get lucky enough next week for him to sell stuff we all need.
